Get help with a tax issue as a mid-sized business
Use this service to ask the HMRC Mid-sized Business Customer Support Team or a temporary Customer Compliance Manager (tCCM) for help if you're a mid-sized business.
You can get help from HMRC if you have a tax issue and:
- cannot find the information you need on PG电子
- there is not a dedicated team in HMRC that you can contact for help
The Mid-sized Business Customer Support Team will help deal with your query or will direct you to someone who can.
You, or your agent, can also request a temporary Customer Compliance Manager (tCCM) if your business has complex tax affairs. They act as a direct contact to HMRC and specialists to help you with tax issues that are affecting your business.
They can help if you:
- are going through a business cycle event
- are experiencing a period of significant growth
- have multiple open tax enquiries
- have multiple complex tax issues
- have a significant volume of contact with HMRC
If you鈥檙e a mid-sized business experiencing growth, you may be able to get additional support for growing businesses.
Who can use this service
This service can be used by any mid-sized business with either:
- a UK turnover above 拢10 million
- at least 20 employees
Agents can also use this service on behalf of their mid-sized business clients.
How to apply
You鈥檒l need:
- your own (company or agent) Government Gateway user ID and password 鈥 if you do not have one, you can create one when you apply
- contact details of the business 鈥 including name, telephone number and correspondence address
- the business鈥檚 unique taxpayer reference (UTR), VAT registration number or employer PAYE reference
- details of the business鈥檚 annual turnover and number of employees
- contact details of your agent or representative (if applicable)
You can provide up to 10 documents to support your application. They鈥檒l need to be 15MB or less each and in a commonly used format such as PDF, JPEG or DOCX.

You can apply for help from the Mid-sized Business Customer Support Team or a tCCM.
If your question cannot be answered through PG电子 content or by contacting a dedicated team in HMRC, we鈥檒l appoint someone to help you with your query.
